Precision Paint Removal

Optimised jet head design minimizes any damage caused to the underlying surface. This is an environmentally friendly alternative to traditional mechanical methods such as thermal lance, scabbling or shotblasting.

Back to black

When highway construction or maintenance is completed, returning the road back to black may be attempted with traditional road sweepers. Whilst these collect debris from the surface the macro texture remains blocked. Harrier provides a quick solution that adds additional value by enhancing the friction of the surface, making it better than before.

Spill recovery

Harrier allows spills to be recovered quickly and potentially without the need for road closure. Contaminants are removed from the surface matrix and and safely collected, leaving the highway with a high friction coefficient.

Harrier uses an ultra-high-pressure water pump capable of delivering a laser-like stream of water to the highway surface through the rotary jetting head at pressures up to 2500 bar. This may be used for numerous applications such as, paint removal, retexturing and porous asphalt cleaning. Water and debris is then removed from the head under vacuum, leaving an almost-dry surface, ready for the highway to be opened immediately or for coating/line markings to be applied, and causing no damage to the highway surface.

Harrier comes in a range of configurations to meet your specific requirements. This includes chassis options from 7.5 tonnes upwards, and jetting heads that can either be chassis mounted or on the remote Raptor units connected by umbilical.

The Harrier and Raptor D quickly remove accumulated debris to expose the original textured surface.
The articulated head means painted lines can be easily followed and removed with minimal overlap of unpainted areas.

Key Features

Harrier’s unique design removes the need for tipping tanks and their associated hydraulic systems, and replaces them with fixed tanks that use a sloped base to simplify debris disposal. Optional internal wash systems are available.

This reduces unit cost, maintenance and the risk of plant failure, whilst reducing the turnaround time for operations.

Based on a 7.5 tonne chassis and with a run time at maximum pressure and volume of 3 hours, the Harrier 7.5 provides a highly affordable solution for smaller operations and projects.
