Osprey rubber removal training in Qatar

New Osprey arrives in Qatar

By | News

The Qatar Armed Forces have just taken receipt of an advanced Osprey LA2200 water jet cleaning vehicle from Jetting Systems.

The vehicle will be based at Al Udeid Air Base, south west of Doha which, as well as home to the Qatari Air Force, is also used by the Royal Air Force, United States Air Force and other coalition partners.

Following delivery in October, the vehicle underwent commissioning by Jetting Systems newest team member, Kevin Payne. After joining earlier this year, former RAF engineer Kevin has already visited Qatar, UAE, Italy and Turkey to put his skills into action for commissioning new Osprey machines, delivering training to operators and maintainers as well as servicing equipment out in the field.

Jetting Systems and COVID-19

On a daily basis we are all seeing how fast the COVID-19 situation is developing. Government press releases this week have confirmed we are entering a new phase of the Virus and it is likely that there will be further restrictions imposed.

In order to best protect ourselves and to give us the best possible chance to continue serving our customers during this challenging time we have been proactive in relocating staff into offices with no more than three people and implementing seven-day opening with split shifts. All overseas and UK travel was stopped several weeks ago and we are only accepting essential visitors to our site. Goods inwards are quarantined in accordance with the published virus life cycle times on various surfaces.
