LATEST DESIGN MOBILE JETTER FROM URACA

Thursday, September 29th, 2011

URACA_JetPower_180
The latest development in the Uraca Jetpower range of high and ultra-high pressure mobile jetting systems features the re-designed JETPOWER 180, with its simplified operating system, reduced weight and a safety system totally compliant with the latest EN ISO 13849 Machine Safety Directive.

The JETPOWER 180 is available in six standard pressure settings ranging from 104 lpm at 800 bar to 28 lpm at 2800 bar and the robust KD724 pump with water cooled engine drive guarantees high power reserves even under the most arduous of conditions and is tolerant to contaminated water.

The new JETPOWER 180 with its twin axle chassis has a remarkable un-laden weight of only 3000kg and is suitable for transporting by a utility vehicle. The sound reducing hood has large gull wing access doors for easy access to essential maintenance and service points. A stationary version is also available as an option.

All control and monitoring functions are entered and displayed on to a plain text screen, ensuring safe and controlled operation even after the briefest of training periods. Pressure and flow regulation is almost continually variable at the touch of the screen.

The innovative safety and work valves are used for central switching functions, integrated as a soft switching arrangement to avoid sudden power and reaction force surges. The safety overload system automatically adjusts to the selected operating pressure ensuring that if there is overload, for example due to incorrectly selected nozzle sizes, there can be only a small pressure and load increase.

A comprehensive selection of accessories is available to complement the JETPOWER 180,permitting the use of spray guns, surface cleaning units and multi-gun systems to be quickly fitted through the variable connection options.

ADC GO RICO

Monday, September 12th, 2011

van 006
Specialist drainage company ADC (East Anglia) Ltd has now converted its entire fleet of CCTV Pipeline Inspection Cameras to RICO.

Their extensive range of CCTV equipment enables a complete survey and reporting service spanning large pipe work and culverts up to 2 meters in diameter to drainage pipes as small as 40mm.

Drainage surveys

Drainage surveys are undertaken on behalf of the construction industry prior to adoption of pipelines by the water authorities. The hi-tech equipment is used for clarification of the condition of drainage pipes, culverts and syphons. Problems may include: dislodgements, cracked or collapsed pipes or complete blockages.

Very latest equipment

Their latest CCTV unit was custom built at the RICO factory in Germany. It is housed inside a 5 ton VW Crafter van which incorporates a battery inverter pack for silent running, fully automatic cable reel, on-board computing and reporting and fully lined and extensive storage space.

There are three separate crawler units on board to cope with any pipe size surveying up to 600 metre from one point. Each crawler is equipped with an electronic sender device to enable it to trace any pipeline.

Onsite reports save time and money

The on board computers enable ADC to produce interim onsite reports and surveys for their customers cutting down the lead time between the finished survey and delivery of reports to the customer. This is critical as it allows completion of remedial works to take place “on the spot” thus shortening time and saving money.

As a standard procedure ADC supply a computer-generated report for which there is an option for clients to obtain a CD/DVD as a visual backup to justify capital expenditure.

OSPREY RUNWAY RUBBER REMOVAL KANDAHAR

OSPREY RUNWAY RUBBER REMOVAL KANDAHAR

Building on the success earlier in the year Jetting Systems have supplied a further Osprey Runway Rubber Removal Machine to the Military airbase in Kandahar Afghanistan.

Like the previous machine used in Kabul this latest Osprey was delivered in a very tight time frame and was shipped by air from East Midlands Airport.

The Osprey’s robust design continues to find favour and is used in some of the most hostile climates in the world.

The unique servo motor driven rubber removal head moves laterally across the front of the vehicle covering a 2000mm path. Servo motors ensure accurate control whatever the climatic conditions and ensure zero damage to the runway surface.

Long service intervals and simplicity of operation ensure that sales of the Osprey remain strong and the order book is currently full.

Jetting Systems has recently entered into an arrangement with UDOR S.p.A to market their range of industrial diaphragm and high-pressure cleaning pumps.

The arrangement with UDOR fits neatly with other pump products in the Jetting Systems range and provides another step forward in our future growth plan. For UDOR it creates an excellent opportunity to develop their sales potential into the UK market.

We are extremely proud to be associated with such a progressive company as UDOR and further information on the pumps that are available can be obtained by viewing the interactive catalogue on our dedicated web page.

OSPREY FLIES IN TO KABUL

Tuesday, January 18th, 2011

EMA-KBL IL76 flight 039

The first ever OSPREY runway rubber removal system supplied in “knock-down” form arrived at the UK military base in Kabul late last year.

The customer requirement demanded a very short delivery schedule which was successfully achieved and the ability for the OSPREY to be shipped by air. The air freight constraints meant that the equipment had to be partially dismantled to fit within the aircraft hold!

Operational demands required the equipment to be quick and easy to re-assemble on site, a task which was achieved without delay and the OSPREY was fully operational within 3 days of leaving the UK.

The hostile environment demanded that the chosen equipment needed to be robust and the most reliable on the market and the machine has proven to be so successful, that a repeat order has since been received for Kandahar air base.

OSPREY RUBBER AND LINE MARKING REMOVAL

DSC01027 (2)DSC01063 (2)

DCP Airports SAS has recently taken delivery of two 32 tonne OSPREY Runway Rubber Removal Units designed and manufactured by Jetting Systems.

These latest Osprey machines are mounted on Renault 8 x 4 chassis and have an operational time capability of over 4 hours. The CNC Servo motor drives ensure that the rubber removal head accurately removes rubber from the runway surface without causing any damage to the surface.

The new operating system now enables the operator to select a full 2000mm removal path or a narrower path for removing rubber from the centre line marking. The system is easily controlled and rubber deposits may be removed without the removal of the lines. A simple change to the operating parameters then enables the operator to select complete line marking removal.

DCP Airports are now operating throughout France and surrounding countries on both road and runway maintenance contracts. The reliability and ease of operation of the Osprey equipment were a key factor in the decision of DCP to purchase the equipment from Jetting Systems.
